The Vanier Community Association would like to invite you to celebrate the joys of winter at the Richelieu Park at the Vanier Winter Carnaval which will be held on February 11th. A conference about the history of the region's heritage cemeteries will be presented at the Vanier Museopark (300, des Pères Blancs Ave.) on Wednesday October 19th at 7 pm by Michel Prévost (chief archivist of the University of Ottawa). Come and learn more about Vanier's cemetery! Cost: 5$. |

Some residents of Vanier have decided to get together and organize a kids party for Halloween! Donations, ideas, and partners have since been flowing in and looks like we'll be having a BIG party at the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre on Friday October 28th from 6pm to 8pm for kids aged 5-13 years old. We need help with poster distribution, cooking, serving popcorn etc. during the evening. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Christine at 613-769-6521 or 613-951-9353. |
