1. Public Consultation - Development Proposal for 222 Beechwood Avenue
The City of Ottawa has received many comments about this proposal including two from the Vanier Community Association. The City is organizing a public consultation session with the applicants to present the proposed design and answer any questions the community might have. The city planner on the file will also be present to answer any questions you might have about process.
The session will take place in the library of the École élémentaire publique Le Trillium at 135 Alice St on Wednesday March 7 at 6:30 pm.
Please look at the submission to the city and prepare any questions or comments you might have ahead of time. The information can be found here.
The VCA expressed its support for the proposal, on the condition that the applicants provide direct community benefits, specifically for the improvement of Optimist Park.

Donations, ideas, and partners have since been flowing in and looks like we'll be having a BIG party at the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre on Friday October 28th from 6pm to 8pm for kids aged 5-13 years old.
